Not Today, Fairy Godmother: Bluebeard

His legend – fierce
(His wives’ disappearance)
But marry he would
Imagine – he could!

Lucky number seven
Came straight down from heaven,
At least in his eyes.
She despised the charade.

He sought a firm yes
She thought hell no
She put herself first
A marriage? No go.

No walk down the aisle
No castle to tour
No bodies to find
She deserved so much more.
