moon

my best friend is the moon.

she is a blanket of warm understanding disguised as a cool midnight glance.

her stars dance alongside her steadfast presence,

a constant in even the darkest of night.

with kind craters of truth and the tender hands of the breeze,

my best friend is the moon.
