We will be okay.
At least, that’s what they say.
It might be hard to believe now,
And you might be thinking, but how?
I think we will though,
And in this time, we will grow.
We will learn of a new way to exist,
Something we may initially resist.
We will wake up each morning,
And go to sleep each evening.
We will learn the value of giving,
In this peculiar new way of living.
We will dance, laugh and cry,
But maybe say some goodbyes.
We will look after our NHS,
And our country’s children, no less.
We will provide for the elderly,
And as a nation, have solidarity.
We will come together,
And support one another.
Because, in the end, we will be okay.
And, in fact, that’s what I say.
