I don’t know how to love you

I don’t know how to love you, but I have our lives to learn

To memorise your breaths, your moans and your edges

Because here in our fortress time isn’t real, our hearts are the only rhythm

We hate the cliché but love that it’s true, the feeling it brings no less than addictive

Don’t stop when I’m gasping that’s the way we go, tell me what you want and I’ll get us there

Making mental notes as we learn our lessons, each other’s teacher we know the tests

Deep breaths eyes closed and hold my hand, I think I know the route

Grab hold and don’t let go, I think I know how to love you now
